Plan and Build a 'One stop shop' approach to building and estate development projects.
Plan & Build are experienced Structural Engineers, Building designers,and Building Surveyors. Construction professionals that have identified the need for 'Turnkey' solutions in the building industry leading to a painless delivery of building projects.
With Plan and Build you do not have to employ a project architect/designer and engineer separately as our approach takes out the headache and frustration involved in dealing with seperate architects, engineers and builders and the delays resulting from under-resourced Local Authorities.
Our Role as the project designer includes
- Provide architectural Plans for your Planning Application (if required)
- Implement any changes to your design
- Prepare construction drawings to your specification and to Building Regulations standards
If required by the client, supervise the works during construction.
Approved Inspector
Build and Plan can introduce you to an Approved Inspector . He / she can provide the same service as a Local Authority or NHBC for ensuring compliance with Building Regulations. An approved inspector can save you up to 4 weeks in your construction programme. Please see our website for the benefits.
Structural Engineers
We are experienced Structural Engineers with many years of practice in the private and public sector and have the following capabilities:-
- Preparing calculations and drawings for clients/architects and builders to suit Approved Documents Part A.
- Checking of third party calculations
- Carrying out structural engineering inspections (Foundations/Steel/timber etc)
- Party Wall review of proposals
- Writing structural appraisals for insurance claims or subsidence investigations
We provide services relating to a wide range of projects; common requests are listed below.
- Conversion of a single dwelling house to flats
- New Developments such as block of flats
- Loft Conversions / garage conversions to habitable rooms.
- Internal alterations such as removal of internal walls
- Extensions (Single / double storey) built at the side, rear or front.
